  • "I began reading Arks expecting poetry. It turned out to be much more than that. Each poem is a carefully planned brush stroke that makes the complete work a masterpiece, no matter from which angle you look at it. To sum it up in one word, I would use the word YES. YES, this is a gem and YES, I highly recommend it."

    - Jaundré van Breda, author of Ask the Vultures

“These poems, full of quiet brilliance, are poems that deserve to be read many times over.”

    - Steve Denehan, author of The Streets, Like Flowers, Come Alive in the Rain

“Scott Waters has his  nger on the pulse of compassion.”

    - DAH, author of Broken , poems

“The poetry in Arks takes the reader through a series of work that has a truly cinematic  quality. In a fascinating combination of history, nature, place and personal spaces, Scott  composes situations to draw you in and to keep you with him. You can’t help but be  present in the moments created by Scott’s words as you read.”

    - Kate Dowling, editor at The Failure Baler

“It’s the small moments of life,  nely observed, and beauty of the commonplace that  make me admire the poems in this collection.”

    - Michael Minassian, author of  Time is Not a River and Morning Calm

“Scott has the ability to say so much in so few words”

    - Steve Cawte, editor at Impspired
