Updates & Things To Do! :D

First off, a big THANK YOU to all those people who have supported this site, been interviewed/published/highlighted by us and for all the love shown on social media! Our goal has always been the same: to champion creativity, indie writers and their work; to help new voices break out and spread the beautiful talent that so often doesn't breakthrough the gatekeepers and 'big boys' of the publishing industry. Thank you and keep writing, drawing, creating and being YOU. That's the most important thing, something we've had to remind ourselves about several times over the last few months: don't ever stop being you.

We've come a long way in three months: 273 subscribers on Twitter, 22 articles published and a lovely load of creative colleagues made!

So what is next? We've got more interviews coming up and I would certainly like to publish more creative work. Sadly there has been plenty of reviews but very little poetry or prose. We're going to try and get more photographers on the scene, because that isn't an area we've tapped into yet and we really adore that medium. So even if you don't have a polished - btw doesn't have to be polished, sometimes raw is gorgeous! - piece you can send us, why not a photograph?

On our review to-do-list we have the following, for those interested:

Read & Review Pending Still Reading/To Be Read

Come Let Us Sing Anyway by Leone Ross Deja Moo by P.J. Benney (51% of the way through!)

Dead Over Heels by Theresa Braun The Die-Fi Experiment by M.R. Tapia

Grown Up Poetry Needs To Leave Me Alone by Carly Brown Monsters Exist edited by Jesse Deadman & Theresa Braun

NPC Tea Vol. 1 & 2 by Sarah Millman Breathe Breathe by Erin Sweet Al-Mehairi

Oh for the Love of God Marie! by Jade Sarson

Now this list will certainly take us into August, if not September! Despite using the term 'we' and 'us', I'm afraid we still have only one reader/regular contributor - myself - and these things take time to read. I aim to publish two articles a week, but I do work part-time and create the rest of the time, so sometimes I may only get one article out, depending on how hectic the week is. Be rest assured however, I will get the work done! There might also be reviews on little things I've picked up that week, as I do try to allow for some flexibility and freedom. If we knew what would happen, why would we ever step out of our front door and go on a journey?

If you think we should be doing something or looking into a matter or reading a particular piece, do drop us a line! I'm friendly and ridiculously enthusiastic, so as long as you are prepared for those two things we should get along just fine!
