At the water's edge wading deep within entrenched a flowing blanket covers me whole sunlight splashes forming a solar dress A feeble folk of minnows nibble at my feet Motherly advice echoes in my inner ear Do not lose your slippers Reality beckons I lose one - To swim or drown the only choice as I climb onto a crag watching the currents swirl by
